This work draws inspiration from the face of the moon

The painting was first created on a wall using lime, sand, and natural pigments (soot for black and Bianco San Giovanni for white). The pictorial layer was then detached from the wall and transferred onto velvet using the calico technique. Finally, the piece was restored with a unique natural method devised by the artist, allowing the image to re-emerge in a three‑dimensional form on the canvas.
Through this work, the artist using ancient materials offered by nature reaffirms her profound connection to the past and to her homeland, rich in history and mystery.
